Tom Stanley, Adele Mulrennan, Steve Jones & Sam Turner’s best bets for Friday’s ITV races at Chester!
I Love Chester!
I don’t always love punting there but do love it as a track to watch racing. Four races previewed from Friday’s card, including the Chester Cup and a superb betting heat as an opening handicap. Plenty of reasonable prices going up, so hopefully, it’s a good day.
Earl Grosvenor Handicap (13:45 Chester)
Sam and Steve are very positive about the current favourite who is very well drawn. Adele is looking a little further down the betting, and my best bet runs here, win and place.
- Sam – Revich
- Adele – Grove Ferry / Another Batt
- Steve – Revich BEST BET
- Tom – Dulas / Gabrial The Devil BEST BET
Huxley Stakes (14:15 Chester)
No bet for me here, though. I could argue Sangarius should be favourite. Sam fancies a trading option on the likely pace angle while Steve stays true to his love for Bangkok.
- Sam – Palavecino back to lay
- Adele – Sangarius
- Steve – Bangkok
- Tom – No Bet
Chester Cup (14:45 Chester)
Open as ever, but some agreement here between Adele and Steve with Trumpet Man. I’m sticking with Ian Williams while Sam has a couple on side a little further down the betting.
- Sam – Couer De Lion / Rochester House
- Adele – Trumpet Man / Glencadam Glory / Hochfeld
- Steve – Trumpet Man BEST BET
- Tom – Nate The Great / Cardano
5f Conditions Stakes (15:15 Chester)
Well, let’s hope El Astronaute wins this!
- Sam – El Astronaute
- Adele – El Astronaute BEST BET
- Steve – El Astronaute
- Tom – El Astronaute
