Eight selections plus a couple of outright fancies for the opening week of a new Champions League season
Some cracking Matchday 1 ties upon us this week, and while the guys only got through nine of them on the show, some decent betting angles may pique your interest.
The show kicked off with host Daniel Hussey asking each of Miguel Delaney, Adrian Clarke and Mark O’Haire who they fancy to win the competition, with the English teams somewhat dominating the conversation:
This is a rare occurrence indeed that two of our guests would pair up for their best selection, but I’m not exactly arguing the toss on this one:
Recommended Bet – Man City to beat Sevilla & Under 4.5 total goals (1.77)

While we’d typically look for the security of under 4.5 goals, Miguel fancies the usual tight win here for Los Colchoneros.

Plenty of question marks over the Reds right now, and would a draw here really be the worst result for the Reds? Keeping the draw onside with an in-form Napoli side seems like the most sensible approach in this one:

Mark fancied the over 1.5 angle with Tottenham but the majority rules on this occasion, with Miguel and Adrian plumping for this selection:
Recommended Bet – Tottenham to win & Under 4.5 total goals (1.87)
None of the lads expect Ange Postecoglou to take the handbrake off for this one. While Madrid are not uber solid at the back, the consensus here is that Los Blancos will prevail, making this selection at a big price a pretty tasty proposition:
