Champions League: Semi Final First Legs Best Bets

Producer Ryan Cahill is on hand to summarise the best bets from Mark O’Haire and Miguel Delaney from this week’s two Semi Final First Legs on our Champions League podcast.

The Final Four of the UCL commences this week with two fascinating ties.

Europe’s most successful club side Real Madrid lock horns with Europe’s current most formidable side in Man City, at the Bernabeu on Tuesday in what should be a cracker.

On the other side of the draw, we have a historic rivalry as both Milan sides AC & Inter square off in what feels like a throwback for this competition.

Enjoy the UCL action this week, best of luck if having a punt, and please do remember to gamble responsibly!

Mark O’Haire’s Best Bet

Mark’s best bet takes us to San Siro, where he is expecting a stereotypical pragmatic affair between both Milan clubs.

Neither will want to lose the tie in the first leg and with both having a sturdy rearguard, opportunities may come at a premium.

Recommended Bet: AC Milan vs Inter Milan – Under 2.25 Goals (1.9)

Miguel Delaney’s Best Bet

Miguel is also opting for a best bet from Wednesday nights encounter at the San Siro.

Making the strong case on the podcast that the stakes are that much higher against facing their great rivals this may lead to an ultra-cautious approach from both.

Like Mark, Miguel expects a cagey affair when these two powerhouses of Italian football square off.

Recommended Bet: AC Milan vs Inter Milan – Under 1.5 Goals (3.05)

Real Madrid vs Man City (Tue 20:00)

  • Mark – Real Madrid +0.25 (2.02)
  • Miguel – Over 3.5 Goals (2.9)

AC Milan vs Inter (Wed 20:00)

  • Mark – Under 2.25 Goals (1.9)
  • Miguel – Under 1.5 Goals (3.05)

Long-Shots

  • Mark – Milan 0-0 Inter (9.2)
  • Miguel – Real Madrid 3-2 City (36)
