Ryan Cahill summarises all the picks from this week’s football podcast featuring Mark O’Haire and Adrian Clarke…

Summer is finally here, and with it comes the culmination of the Premier League, EFL Playoffs and many of Europe’s top leagues.

Champions will be crowned, Champions League places will be confirmed, and despair will be felt by those having to drop down a level next season.

It is sure to be an action-packed weekend, with quality fixtures littered throughout.

Mark O’Haire’s Best Bet

A rare foray to Belgium for Mark O’Haire this weekend, and when Mark ventures to a league outside the Top 5, you sit up and take notice.

The Belgium top-flight has averaged 3.03 goals per-game with 58% of contests producing Over 2.5 Goals, and 36% of fixtures featuring four strikes or more, and with USG and Genk, you have two of the main protagonists.

Recommended Bet: Over 2.5/3.0 Goals (1.89) in Union St Gilloise vs Genk

Adrian Clarke’s Best Bet

The EFL is Adrian’s bread and butter, and when Adrian has signalled one out for his best bet, you duly note it down.

The Championship playoffs culminate with the most valuable game in world football, to the winner goes vast amounts of money just for making it to the promised land of the Premier League.

For that reason, caution is expected in first-leg ties. With so much on the line, Adrian expects a Luton side that boasts a solid away record this year to cover the quarter-goal start at the Stadium Of Light.

Recommended Bet: Sunderland vs Luton +0.0/0.5 (1.73)

Leeds vs Newcastle (Sat 12:30)

  • Mark – Newcastle and Over 1.5 (2.02)
  • Adrian – Newcastle and BTTS (3.3)

Everton vs Man City (Sun 14:00)

  • Mark – Man City and Under 4.5 (1.74)
  • Adrian – Everton +1.5 (1.88)

Arsenal vs Brighton (Sun 16:30)

  • Mark – Arsenal and BTTS (3.25)
  • Adrian – Arsenal and Over 2.5 (2.46)

Leicester vs Liverpool (Mon 20:00)

  • Mark – Liverpool and BTTS (2.94)
  • Adrian – Liverpool and Over 1.5 (1.82)

EFL Playoffs

Mark – Bolton vs Barnsley – Under 2.5 Goals (1.82)

Adrian – Coventry v Middlesbrough – BTTS NO (1.97)

Adrian – Peterborough +0.0 (2.0) v Sheffield Wednesday
