Host Aidan O’Sullivan summarises the seven best Premier League and EFL selections from our football podcast
Just the two of us this week as Mark O’Haire is taking a deserved week off fresh from four winners from five selections last weekend. Fear not, though; Adrian Clarke was in terrific form, breaking down four Premier League selections while finishing with some strong fancies from the EFL, including his best bet in the Championship.
We kicked things off with Sunday’s games as the race for that final Champions League spot heats up!
The match odds here already indicate that the Hammers are very much focused on Thursday night’s Europa League clash with Frankfurt, and Adrian expects the Gunners to take advantage of this:

Such is their maddening inconsistency, Antonio Conte’s side have been a frighteningly complex team to get a read on, but Adrian fancies we’ll get good Spurs in this one. At the same time, the Foxes will most likely rotate following their European tie with Roma:

Leeds have tightened up since Jesse Marsch’s arrival, but it’s hard to see where they find any success against City in this one. Both myself and Adrian agree that a price of 2.44 on a City win with a clean sheet is too hard to ignore!

As strong as Newcastle have been in 2022, taking on the best team in the world right now will be a bridge too far for the Toon army.
