Tips From Our Football Podcast - Liverpool & Chelsea To Bounce Back While United Will Keep Rolling

Host Aidan O’Sullivan rattles through what our team of Miguel Delaney, Adrian Clarke and Mark O’Haire are backing this weekend.

A mixed bag last weekend, as I am sure it was for lots of punters with odds-on shots City, Chelsea and Liverpool failing to get maximum points, but we’re confident of a good weekend with the best bets, in particular, seeming to be confident shouts.

We kick off with those while then concentrating on four of the marquee Premier League fixtures from Matchday Four:

Miguel Delaney’s Best Bet

There are some big issues at Anfield, but this one will be tough for the Cherries; an early Reds goal should set the tone for plenty more to follow. Miguel played the same bet for their fixture vs Man City a few weeks back and is confident of another winner here:

Recommended Bet – Liverpool to beat Bournemouth & Over 3.5 total goals (2.1)

Adrian Clarke’s Best Bet

I will always take notice when Adrian says an EFL side should be odds-on but are good shades of odds against. His shout on Ipswich last weekend to beat Shrewsbury further fills me with confidence that his lower league value radar is working early doors:

Recommended Bet – Walsall to beat Grimsby (2.4)

Mark O’Haire’s Best Bet

Athletic don’t concede much at all but can’t score much at the other end either. Cadiz are in a very similar boat which could lead to a serious snoozefest here. One to watch on FlashScore for sure rather than a dodgy stream!

Recommended Bet – Cadiz vs Athletic – Under 2.0/2.5 goals (1.8)

Bet Now

Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham

Forest, to their credit, have been well up to the Premier League task in recent weeks, but we fancy Tottenham to outlast them here without running away with it:

Recommended Bet – Spurs to beat Forest & under 4.5 total goals (1.84)

Arsenal vs Fulham

Fulham may be good for a goal themselves here, especially with Aleksandar Mitrović’s aerial prowess. Still, the Gunners, who are averaging three goals a game, are well capable of more of the same at the Emirates:

Recommended Bet – Arsenal to beat Fulham & over 2.5 total goals (1.84)

Chelsea vs Leicester

What happens when Chelsea suffer a shock loss? Tuchel tends to go lock stock n barrel in defending their own goal, and despite some major questions over their back three, Miguel’s shout here seems a solid one against a Leicester side potentially in disarray!

Recommended Bet – Home team clean sheet (2.14)

Southampton vs Man Utd

Regular readers/viewers will know we rarely if ever, back United at odds-on, but here we are – we’re buying them this week down south!

Recommended Bet – Man Utd to beat Soton (1.83)

Other Weekend Football Tips

Adrian: Morecambe vs MK Dons – Under 2.5 goals (1.8)
Adrian: Leyton Orient & Under 3.5 vs Hartlepool (2.18)
Mark: Brest vs Montpellier – Over 2.5 goals (1.85)
