Plenty in the way of bets before then and we’ve some fairly open Grade 1s in comparison to three weeks ago at Prestbury Park…
A couple of strong shouts for Hitman and he’s Deasy’s best bet on the day. I’m going for the Irish raider but fair to say Rixy didn’t agree with me that he should be favourite!
Paul Nicholls’s charge gets a good couple of shouts here for all the consensus was that the price difference between he and Adagio was a little big at the time of recording. Deasy isn’t getting involved at the top of the market and goes for one at a bit of a price.
Team steam! Three of us are backing Clondaw Castle in a trappy little renewal of the Bowl and he’s Sam’s best bet on the day. Meanwhile RIxy is sticking with the favourite in first time cheekpieces as his bet of the day.
My best bet lines up here and I really do think he’s a great play win and place. Elsewhere the boys are adamant Song For Someone is overpriced.
We mainly focus on the Red Rum Chase here whilst Sam has a couple of shouts in the Foxhunters. I’ll chance Miss Lamb at a decent price in the Mares’ Bumper too.
