Host Tom Stanley gives a quick overview of what our Podcast team are backing at Epsom on Saturday kicking off with The Derby.
Five races covered on Derby Saturday, with the team again looking further down the betting than the favourite for the feature.
Personally, I’m most excited about the Dash from a betting perspective, though finding the winner is never easy.
However, I do think lower drawn horses are under bet, so I am looking far side.
We start with the big one:
Deasy and I agree on Jim Bolger’s horse and find another bet at a price. Steve likes one of the Frankels and Rixy has his best bet here at double figure odds.
Tight handicap and I agree with Rixy that Greatgadian is a bet. Steve is siding with a yard in form while Deasy likes a last time out course winner.
Tricky heat and only two bets found. Deasy likes the Hannon runner whilst Steve thinks Mick Channon’s Goodwood winner is the value.
Fair to say Steve likes Duke Of Hazard! And Rixy is in agreement. I’m with a likely pace angle win and place.
Three separate shouts for the dash and all at fair prices as you’d expect. Deasy has been following Sunday Sovereign all year and sides with him again. I’m very keen on Blue De Vega and Steve likes Dean Ivory’s charge.
