Before all that is the small matter of the Cambridgeshire Meeting at Newmarket.
We’ve assembled four of the brightest minds in the game with Tom Stanley, Steve Jones, Charlie Poste and Sam Turner.
We start with Friday’s action and conclude with the Cambridgeshire itself on Saturday.

Not much action in this race with the conclusion from our panel being that Flying Honours should do the business, albeit unbackable given how short he is in the market.
Not an original pick from Sam Turner but he can’t get away from Montassib here. Charlie agrees and thinks this horse can be a mile and a quarter horse in time. Being gelded is the key to Tom’s pick, Wanees while Steve likes Billyb win and place.
Tom isn’t happy that everyone else is out to get Meditate. Sam wants Trillium onside and let him have one run at the favourite, although this is very much a watching brief for him. Win and place shouts for Steve and Charlie with Treasure Trove and Swingalong, respectively.
Charlie came down on The Thin Blue Line around the 14.0 mark, win and place. Tom thinks Sound Reason is overpriced. Sam agrees but is siding with Aligator Alley, although given he’s found in the market, it would be a 4/10 shout for him. Copper Knight hasn’t been in the best of form recently but Steve is in the forgiving mood.

Steve and Charlie really like Blackbeard here, who they think is very professional and is the best horse in this race. Sam went with Marshman while it’s Persian Force for Tom who feels is very solid here, with the track suiting.
Plenty of horses put up here as you would expect in the Cambridgeshire. Sam likes the high numbers here, given the pace is there but is siding with a horse from each side of the draw. Stand side rail and big prices is the name of the game for Tom. Steve also wants to be stand side and is with Perotto (34.0) drawn in 20. Jimi Hendrix win and place, for Charlie same reasons. All big prices, so take your pick!

Almost a team steam here with Tom, Steve and Charlie all thinking Eternal Pearl is overpriced. While Sam is halfway there with them, he does still feel that Sea Silk Road is the most likely winner.
Speycaster is a win/place price, and that’s good enough for Tom and Steve – both working under the impression that he’s the most likely winner. Sam liked Baltic Bird on his third start at Yarmouth and feels there are excuses last time out.
Tom’s best bet of the day runs here with Dance In The Grass, a double-figure price at the time of recording. Charlie agrees, noting the horse was sent off 5/4F at Donny. Olivia Maralda is the choice of both Steve and Sam, with Steve laying the favourite Commissioning at the prices.
Charlie is with Potapova given that the race isn’t that deep. Tom considered him but wasn’t convinced on the trip suiting. He and Steve went with Tempus as the most solid option, while Sam is backing Pogo.
