A team of American bettors from Unabated faces off against a team of European bettors from Matchbook on Super Bowl Props.
Check out the rule, format, scoring and picks below.
Competition Rules:
3 contestants per side.
There will be two rounds of competition, Game Props & Player Props.
A maximum of 18 points will be awarded in the competition.
Format:
All matches will be based on picks from Prop markets and lines from the Official Westgate Super Bowl Prop Pack. Once a pick is used, it can’t be used again by either team. However, a similar pick can be used.
The 18 matches will be round-robin in that in each show, and every player will have one match against each player on the opposing team.
In the Game Props round, for each match a player will first give his pick from any prop bet in the Game Props section of the prop odds. A pick will consist of a side and a price. His opponent will then give his pick from any prop bet in the Game Props section.
In the Player Props round, for each match a player will first give his pick from any prop bet in the Player Props section of the prop odds. A pick will consist of a side and a price. His opponent will then give his pick from any prop bet in the Player Props section.
The winner of the match will be the player who wins their prop bet. If the players from both teams win their prop bet, the winner is the pick chosen at the bigger odds. If the result and odds are the same, the match results in a tie. If both players lose their prop bet, no points are awarded.
Since picking second in each matchup has an advantage, teams will alternate who picks first in each match.
Scoring:
Teams score 1 point for a winning match. Teams score ½ point for a tied match. The competition’s overall winner will be the Team that scores the most points after both rounds.
In the event of a tie at the end of two rounds, the winner will be the team who accumulated the highest aggregated odds from their winning bets.
