IN BETTING TERMS, WHAT IS CASH OUT?

CASH OUT EXPLAINED

Cash out gives you the opportunity to settle your bet before the event has actually ended.
To give you an example – if you bet on Arsenal to beat Aston Villa and Arsenal are winning 1-0 with twenty minutes to go you will be able to cash out your bet for a lower amount of profit than if you let the bet run for the rest of the game.

So when you cash out you will be avoiding any chance of a potential equaliser and your bet losing within that last twenty minutes.

The cash out amount will always be based on the latest odds.

Cash out is sometimes not available due to the market being suspended.
This will most likely be caused by a significant event in the game that will change the odds or if the game is quite close to finishing.

Not all markets on Matchbook can be cashed out but the ones that can are clearly marked with the cash out logo.

Remember – you don’t have to cash out, but it does give you the option to take the sweat out of your bet!
