Matchbook Meets… is a new monthly series from Matchbook where we interview different personalities about their chosen sport. First up is Let’s Talk Racing and Which Bookie’s Andrew Blair White.
Andrew’s horse racing content on social media has got him plenty of supporters but how did he get into racing?
We chat about that, tipping, Leopardstown and Cheltenham memories, as well as the success of Let’s Talk Racing.

Andrew Blair White On Leopardstown
Living so close to Leopardstown, Andrew spoke at length about falling in love with horse racing at his local South Dublin track.
Not soon after his first visit, he joined the Under 30 Members club at Leopardstown and now enjoys access to every meeting at the venue during the year.
With one-off horse racing ticket prices potentially being off-putting to people who want to come racing, becoming a member is something that Andrew would encourage anybody who has an interest in the sport to do.
Andrew Blair White On Cheltenham
Cheltenham is the home of Jumps Racing and Andrew remembers his first walk to Cheltenham with the crowd.
A November meeting debut was one thing, but doing all four days at the Festival is one of the highlights of his racing career.
With another trip on the horizon in March, it was hard not to get excited listening to Andrew speak so passionately about The Festival.
