Olly Murphy on how he got involved with horses
Olly took us back to the start, with his family background in horse racing. From there, Olly became a jockey before deciding that training would ultimately be his passion.
He joined Gordon Elliott’s team as an assistant trainer in Ireland where he learned his craft. He returned home to take out his own trainer’s licence in 2017.
Since then, he has enjoyed some great successes with Hunter’s Call, and Brewinupastrom to name a few of his big-day race winners.
