Friday is All-Weather Finals Day and the team look at the first six races on the card.
I’m a big fan of this day but lower prize money this year has meant it’s not quite as competitive as normal. That said the team have found a good few bets and Steve and Sam agree on their best bet for the day in the same race.
Too tight for me to get involved here though it’s a strong case made by Deasy and Sam for one at a big price – the outsider of the field at the time of recording!
The Gosden team are in great form and three of the panel think this will go that way with the likely favourite. Steve can’t have her though and looks elsewhere.
Best bet time for Sam and Steve with Tim Easterby’s northern raider at 9.0 at the time of recording. I think Exalted Angel fits the bill after his win here last time.
Two opposing views here with Deasy and Sam siding with Apollo One (which is Deasy’s bet of the day) while Steve and I go for the brave front runner, Mighty Gurkha.
My best bet goes here having run well on the dirt in Saudi last time. Really think he’ll be tough to beat at a very fair 2.2 at the time of recording. Sam and Deasy agree he’s the one to side with but Steve looks elsewhere.
Steve, a brave man, is siding with the once very talented Mums Tipple to show he still has that class. Sam thinks the favourite at the time of recording is the one to beat whilst Deasy and I agree Intuitive is a safe play, win and place.
