Thursday started oh so well with Creative Force taking the ITV opener at 3.75. It looked as though it’d get even better when best bet Scholastic hit the front at Cheltenham, but it wasn’t to be. A place for Mystery Of Smiles for both Steve and me at 23.0 in the Craven was a welcome finish to the day.

Well, I’m not so fortunate in hoping this horse would open up third or fourth in the betting! Steve more accurate as he sits at 4.33 favourite. I’d still say that’s fair enough.
Both very happy to see Dingle open up at double figures here. Well worth a win and place bet. So too, Clarendon Cross & Knowwhentorun.
I was out to support the favourite, but I have to say my enthusiasm slightly tempered by his 3.25 price. Steve is sticking with likely front runner Schiehallion Munro.
