A very good opening day of Royal Ascot on the pod!
Declan Rix was in fine form and nailed his best bet of Lope Y Fernandez w/o Palace Pier. He was last backed on the Matchbook Exchange at 5.8.
Berkshire Shadow won the Coventry at 13.5 (ISP12.0), and Rixy also put up Oxted, winner of the King’s Stand, having last been matched at 5.6 (ISP 5.0).
Sam Turner found some big priced places too…Sir Busker at an Industry SP of 23.0 and Arecibo at 29.0.
We go again on Day 2!
Again we’re ducking the Wesley Ward favourite. A good few Irish fillies catch the eye and I’m chancing a gambled on filly last time at a very big price.
Sam and Don struggling to look past the favourite here whilst Rixy can see some value elsewhere. Too trappy for me at the current prices.

Rixy and Sam like the O’Brien second string whilst Donn thinks Love is the one to beat. I’m with Lord North so some options for you!
Some appealing prices as you’d expect and Rixy and I agree with Maydanny. Donn thinks the current favourite is a well-treated horse. Sam is siding in the main with the Lincoln winner.
