Our podcast host Tom Stanley fills you in on what he and the rest of the team are backing in Doncaster on Friday!
Flying Scotsman (13:40 Doncaster)
We’re all keen to take on the favourite. Sam and I like the once-raced Ribhi, whilst Steve argues Find is a big price on what he’s achieved so far. Adele is with Hannon’s last time out Newmarket winner.
- Tom – Ribhi
- Adele – Razzle Dazzle
- Steve – Find
- Sam – Ribhi
Flying Childers (14:10 Doncaster)
Best bet material for me in Armor, and Steve is also supporting him back over 5 furlongs. Sam too but also makes the same case as Adele for Attagirl, and that’s her best bet of the day.
- Tom – Armor
- Adele – Attagirl
- Steve – Armor
- Sam – Armor / Attagirl
Doncaster Cup (14:40)
Much of these thoughts are weather dependent. Adele is just about siding with the favourite, but Sam feels Trueshan is a bet on account of the fact he’ll either run and look a big price if he gets his conditions or be pulled out. I’m following Sam in with that theory.
- Tom – Trueshan
- Adele – Stradivarius
- Steve – No bet
- Sam – Trueshan
Bet Now
Mallard Handicap (15:15 Doncaster)
Sam’s bet of the day here in the form of HMS President.
I’m pretty strong on Rhythmic Intent too. Adele is going for one at 17.0 at the time of recording, and Steve makes a strong case for Uber Cool, his best bet.
- Tom – Rhythmic Intent
- Adele – Lucky deal
- Steve – Uber Cool
- Sam – HMS President
Cazoo Handicap 15:45 Doncaster
Again an open race and different opinions. Fair to say we’re tepid on the selections here, but probably most confident was Adele with her two, the latter of which is ridden by husband, Paul…
- Tom – Zip
- Adele – Mitrosonfire / Gale Force Maya
- Steve – Raatea
- Sam – Asjad
Friday Best Bets
- Tom – Armor
- Adele – Attagirl
- Steve – Uber Cool
- Sam – HMS President
